TOO DEEP
(2nd Sept, 2002, 11 PM)

I fell asleep
Waiting for the phone to ring
Deeper than oceans put together
One above the other.

I'm still asleep
And the phone keeps ringing
Louder than tortured lions
That torture each other.

Now I'll never wake
Let that phone ring, loud and deep
I'm silent, as a wall
Washed pale white, in hues too deep
Like fading hues in me.
